About the Role
In this role you will create comprehensive techno‑commercial proposals for gas‑insulated switchgear projects, ensuring the most technically suitable and cost‑effective solutions. You will work closely with the sales support team, product groups, territory marketing and service sales managers to address the specific needs of regional customers. By analysing market information and customer requirements, you will guide the preparation of offers that comply with Hitachi Energy procedures and rationalise terms and conditions. You will review technical documentation, define scope of supply, configure products with appropriate options, and generate supporting datasheets, quality plans, and painting specifications. Collaboration with design, project management and supply‑chain functions will be essential throughout the tendering process, while cost and lost‑proposal analyses will help improve future bids. Additionally, you will support Area Sales Managers during offer clarification and ensure adherence to internal and external regulations. • Prepare techno‑commercial offers for GIS modifications and bay extensions. • Determine technically appropriate and cost‑effective solutions. • Collaborate with sales support, product groups, territory marketing and service sales managers. • Analyse customer needs and market information to shape proposals. • Ensure all offers follow Hitachi Energy procedures and guidelines. • Review technical documents, define scope, configure products and list deviations. • Create datasheets, quality plans, painting specifications and document lists. • Support Area Sales Managers during offer clarification and follow‑up. • Coordinate with design, project management and supply‑chain teams during tendering. • Conduct cost analysis and lost‑proposal analysis to improve future bids. • Maintain compliance with external and internal regulations.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and has five to ten years of experience in GIS, EPC or high/medium‑voltage electrical product sales and tendering. Proven expertise in preparing and supporting offer/quotation processes, familiarity with sales/tendering tools, and solid knowledge of the power‑grid market are required. Strong English communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are also essential. • Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering. • Possess 5–10 years of experience in GIS, EPC or high/medium voltage product sales and tendering. • Experience with sales/tendering tools and offer/quotation processes. • Knowledge of power‑grid market and system offerings. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
