About the Role
The Service Technician repairs and overhauls refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs efficiently and on time. Responsibilities include working on single and rack systems, display cases, and walk‑in boxes, providing emergency on‑call service, and handling equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices safely and promptly. The role also involves preventative maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, maintaining accurate records, processing job tickets, supporting installations, minor construction tasks, and safe vehicle operation. • Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment. • Service single and rack systems, display cases, and walk‑in units. • Provide emergency on‑call support and maintain a clean driving record. • Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment issues. • Maintain accurate service records and process work orders promptly. • Assist with equipment delivery, installation, and minor construction tasks. • Safely operate company vehicle and lift up to 60 lb.

What You Bring
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, EPA certification, and at least three to four years of commercial refrigeration experience. Additional certification from an accredited vocational‑technical or trade school is a plus. CoolSys comprises 27 brands, and its employees drive the company's growth.
