About the Role
As the Stakeholder and Communications Advisor you will support stakeholder engagement and communication activities to minimise disruption to customers and deliver a positive community experience. The role involves regular face‑to‑face engagement, responding to public enquiries, and communicating with businesses, ratepayers and residents about road maintenance and minor construction. You will prepare and distribute works notification letters, support internal events and provide administrative assistance as required, while collaborating with planning, delivery and support teams to ensure timely, coordinated communications. • Undertake communications activities to meet contractual requirements • Minimise disruption through public communications and liaison with customers • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders via communication plans • Provide customer and stakeholder insights throughout planning, delivery and close‑off stages

What You Bring
The position is full‑time and permanent, Monday‑Friday, based in our Penrose office in Auckland. Applicants must hold a current driver’s licence and will be required to complete a pre‑employment drug test, medical and Ministry of Justice check. • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills • Proven track record of exceptional customer service • Problem‑solving, initiative, conflict resolution and negotiation abilities • Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and record‑keeping experience • Full, current driver’s licence • 2–3 years experience in events, marketing, communications or engagement (preferred)
