About the Role

We are seeking a full-time MAC Team Lead to join our team, working four days per week on-site in Toronto or Brampton and one day remotely. The MAC Team Lead oversees people supervision, planning, and delivery of facility moves, adds or change projects, including furniture installation coordination and sustainable furniture and office decommissioning. Service Delivery responsibilities include planning and executing facility moves, additions, changes, and furniture installations while developing project strategies, completing intake forms, estimating costs, coordinating cross‑functionally, managing vendor relationships, scheduling, tendering, and ensuring health‑and‑safety compliance and regulatory adherence. Relationship Management involves building strong internal partnerships with service lines, project groups, and operations, maintaining effective communication with clients, contractors, and industry bodies, and sustaining a recycling and charity vendor database to support sustainable outcomes. Reporting and Communication duties encompass preparing milestone billing documents, maintaining work instructions, delivering project status and financial reports, participating in regular MAC team meetings, updating strategies, and ensuring all project documentation is audit‑ready. Financial Management tasks require adherence to financial and procurement policies, developing rough order of magnitude budgets, monitoring purchase orders and invoices, and ensuring any revenue from sustainable decommissioning is appropriately allocated. Service Delivery Development and Quality Management focus on collaborating with senior leaders to define and improve MAC service delivery, establishing measurable KPIs, and creating playbooks and tools for relocations and furniture installations. Business Development activities include curating successful project showcases, guiding the creation of marketing materials, enhancing client and occupant experiences to drive repeat business, and supporting proposal development and fee pricing. • Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of individual contributors, handling recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and compensation recommendations. • Plan and execute facility moves, additions, changes, furniture installations, and sustainable decommissioning projects, ensuring timeline, budget, and regulatory compliance. • Develop project strategies, cost estimates, schedules, and tender packages while coordinating with internal teams, clients, and third‑party vendors. • Manage health and safety risks, maintain standing offer contracts, and provide thought leadership in moves and decommissioning practices. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and recycling/charity partners to ensure satisfaction and BGIS success. • Prepare project milestone billing, status reports, financial tracking, and ensure audit‑ready documentation. • Create and monitor KPIs, develop process playbooks, and contribute to continuous improvement of MAC service delivery. • Support business development by showcasing successful projects, producing marketing materials, and assisting with proposal and pricing development.

The role demands excellent communication, leadership, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills, with three to five years of experience in moves, adds, changes, furniture installation, or decommissioning, plus three years of furniture systems knowledge, the ability to obtain Federal Security Clearance, and a driver’s license as a bonus. • Required experience: 3–5 years in moves/add/change, furniture installation or decommissioning; 3+ years furniture systems knowledge; strong leadership, communication, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills; ability to obtain Federal Security Clearance; driver’s license a plus.
