About the Role
The Electronic Technician installs, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies a variety of electronic systems, including ground common radio gear, digital wideband and multiband networking communication equipment, and related devices. The role also requires completing associated administrative documentation, lifting up to 50 lb, and providing technical assistance, guidance, or training to lower‑level technicians while assisting higher‑level technicians. • Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify ground radio and networking equipment. • Complete administrative documentation for all work performed. • Lift up to 50 lb and provide technical guidance to junior technicians. • Obtain and maintain a tactical vehicle operator license, Secret clearance, and base access as required.

What You Bring
Candidates must have completed the Military Basic Electronics Course and the Ground Transmission Systems Repair Course, or possess an equivalent AA degree in electronics and relevant certifications such as DOD 8570 IAT Level II or an FCC General Radio Telephone Operator License. At least five years of directly related experience is required, together with knowledge of radio transmitters, receivers, wave propagation, circuit components, antennas, and testing instruments. Applicants must be U.S. citizens able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, base access, and, if needed, a tactical vehicle operator license. • Hold Military Basic Electronics and Ground Transmission Systems Repair certifications or an equivalent AA degree with relevant licenses. • Possess a minimum of five years of related electronic maintenance experience. • Demonstrate knowledge of radio transmitters, receivers, wave propagation, circuits, antennas, and testing tools.
