About the Role

The Senior Project Manager role leads complex, innovative building projects, overseeing commissions under a Director or Regional Lead and providing strategic guidance, audit, and review for multiple projects simultaneously. Key responsibilities include ensuring projects meet quality standards, are completed on time, and maintaining strong client relationships while serving as the primary interface between AECOM and its clients. • Manage a portfolio of clients with multiple concurrent projects. • Deliver revenue targets through flawless execution and repeat business. • Achieve planned profit margins and avoid project write‑downs. • Oversee projects involving Risk Triggering Factors (RTF). • Provide decision‑making authority and guide Project Managers on risk mitigation. • Direct staff to minimize exposure to claims. • Supervise and coordinate multiple Project Managers or program of projects.

What You Bring

The position is based in Birmingham, UK, with flexibility to work from the office, remotely, or on client sites, and aligns with the company's Disability Confident and Equal Opportunity policies. • Hold a qualified degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying. • Possess chartered status (MAPM, RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, or equivalent). • Demonstrate experience in consultancy or client‑facing environments. • Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and contract knowledge (JCT, NEC). • Understand Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
