About the Role
In this role you will lead the delivery of repairs, maintenance, voids, energy and planned‑works contracts for Medway Council, overseeing operational, technical and commercial teams. You will be accountable for implementing strategic plans, driving continuous improvement and ensuring high standards of performance and customer satisfaction. • Lead partnership delivery team to ensure timely, cost‑effective repairs, maintenance, voids, energy and planned works. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams and key stakeholders. • Oversee contract management, including performance monitoring, quality assurance, commercial outcomes and reporting. • Drive continuous improvement to boost operational efficiency, service quality and client satisfaction.

What You Bring
• Proven experience in social housing maintenance contracts and Repairs & Maintenance leadership. • Knowledge of SHDF and delivery of planned works programmes exceeding £5 million per annum. • Strong communication, influencing and challenge skills both internally and externally. • Commercially astute with solid contract management expertise. • Excellent organisational abilities, data‑driven decision‑making and performance target management. • Ability to manage and resolve complaints promptly. • Up‑to‑date health and safety knowledge and a full UK driving licence.
