About the Role
BGIS is seeking a Sites Supervisor (Data Center) for its Las Vegas, NV location. The role oversees the physical and virtual infrastructure of the organization’s raised‑floor data centers, driving best practices and industry standards. It functions both as a manager and an individual contributor, leading the team while exemplifying BGIS values. Key responsibilities include people leadership—guiding team members, managing staffing, onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, and compensation—while ensuring compliance with company and client policies. In account management, the supervisor maintains client relationships, creates budgets, negotiates vendor contracts, prepares performance reports, and coordinates with internal and client teams to meet contractual requirements and operational readiness. Data center operations duties cover DCIM planning, cabling and equipment design, processing customer requests, KPI reporting, SOP development, security protocols, hardware troubleshooting, MACs, rack‑and‑stack services, asset management, and health‑and‑safety monitoring. • Lead and develop the data center support team, handling staffing, onboarding, coaching, and performance management. • Manage client relationships, create budgets, negotiate contracts, and provide financial oversight for raised‑floor operations. • Oversee data center operations: DCIM planning, cabling, equipment design/build, KPI reporting, and SOP compliance. • Ensure site security, health, safety, and adherence to environmental and emergency procedures. • Perform hardware troubleshooting, MACs, rack‑and‑stack, and asset management across Windows, UNIX, and mainframe platforms.

What You Bring
The position requires a college degree or technical certification in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, plus a minimum of five years’ data center management experience. Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, as well as expertise with DCIM tools, copper/fiber infrastructure, Microsoft Office, IT hardware, Windows and UNIX systems, and knowledge of mainframe and building infrastructure concepts. The role demands flexibility, including on‑call support 24 × 7 × 365, travel, and the ability to work in a 24‑hour environment with rotating shifts. Physical requirements include the ability to navigate uneven terrain, work at heights, use ladders, operate in confined spaces, and meet visual and auditory standards for safety. • Require a college degree or technical certification and at least five years of data center management experience. • Must possess strong communication, leadership, teamwork skills, and proficiency with DCIM tools and IT infrastructure. • Ability to work on‑call 24/7, travel as needed, and meet physical demands such as working at heights and in confined spaces.
