About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports the property’s maintenance program by performing corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic repairs, and by assisting with make‑ready turnover activities under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend the community daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, including repairs and replacements. • Assist with scheduling and execution of maintenance/repair turn events and unit make‑ready processes. • Clean and maintain exterior grounds, breezeways, common areas, and swimming pools, recording chemical logs. • Inspect grounds, buildings, and features daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions. • Execute the preventative maintenance program to extend property life and reduce future repairs. • Follow Asset Living policies and OSHA/EPA standards; maintain a well‑organized, stocked maintenance shop. • Support the hazard communications program and promote safe work practices. • Participate in unit inspections, inventory monitoring, and record‑keeping for service requests and maintenance activities. • Perform general upkeep of office, common areas, and model units; report violations to supervisors. • Be on‑call for emergency situations and utilize resources economically. • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring consistent resident interactions and enforcing community policies.

What You Bring
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and familiarity with Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. Benefits
Compensation is hourly, ranging from $25 to $27, and includes a comprehensive total rewards package with medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) matching, paid sick days, holidays and performance bonuses. The position is full‑time and may involve additional duties as directed by supervisors.
