About the Role
The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside‑sales position that supports telephone and walk‑in customers by identifying equipment needs, negotiating terms, and processing orders. What You Bring
Physical demands include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds or more, with possible long‑duration driving, heavy equipment handling, and work in extreme weather, night, or weekend shifts. All duties must adhere to Sunbelt’s safety policies, and reasonable accommodations are available in accordance with ADA/ADAAA. • Use inside sales or customer service skills for steady hours and potential overtime • High school diploma or GED required • Valid driver’s license required • Familiarity with construction and industrial tools and equipment • Forklift operating experience or willingness to be trained and certified • Previous equipment rental industry experience • Strong customer service and telephone communication skills • Solid computer proficiency and administrative abilities • Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 25 lb or more; may involve long drives, heavy loading, extreme weather, night/weekend work • Must follow Sunbelt safety policies; reasonable accommodations provided per ADA/ADAAA
