About the Role

The Maintenance Technician for The Holston multifamily property supports resident needs by ensuring smooth move‑ins, high satisfaction, quick service response, and personalized attention. The role is accountable for delivering on these commitments and representing Cushman & Wakefield professionally at all times. Key responsibilities include preparing make‑ready apartments—painting, carpet repair, cleaning, and general repairs—to provide a quality move‑in experience. Technicians respond promptly to resident requests, perform plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal tasks, and maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog‑park amenities. They participate in on‑call rotations for after‑hour emergencies, report maintenance concerns, and complete scheduled work as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. • Prepare make‑ready apartments (paint, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs). • Respond promptly to resident service requests with professional attitude. • Perform plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal tasks. • Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog‑park amenities. • Participate in on‑call rotations for after‑hour emergencies. • Report maintenance concerns and complete scheduled work per supervisor direction. • Follow fair‑housing laws, safety procedures, and company policies. • Dress according to uniform standards and ensure tool safety.

What You Bring

The position requires a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification (or equivalent local certificate). Candidates must be able to read and interpret policy manuals, safety rules, and maintenance instructions, perform basic math calculations, and write routine reports and correspondence while adhering to safety procedures. Required education is a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical/vocational training. At least one year of related maintenance experience is preferred. Work is performed in a professional office setting with regular use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment, and includes travel between property sites in varying weather conditions. Physical demands involve standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 100 lb regularly, with up to 10 % travel time. • Hold a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification. • Possess a high school diploma or vocational training; 1+ year related experience. • Read manuals, compute ratios, write reports, and follow instructions effectively. • Travel between properties, lift up to 100 lb, and stand or walk for extended periods.
