About the Role

The HS&E Advisor will support the Framework HS&E Manager on health, safety and environmental matters across the region, embedding the HS&E strategy and ensuring projects meet the highest standards. The role involves supporting operational teams, driving behavioural change and maintaining legal and internal compliance. • Promote a strong, inclusive HS&E culture across all operational activities • Support the implementation of HS&E strategy and systems across the framework • Provide technical HS&E advice and support to site and project teams • Ensure effective implementation of the HS&E Management System • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including clients, supply chain and regulators • Monitor performance using HS&E KPIs and support continuous improvement • Support incident investigations and ensure effective close out of actions • Report HS&E performance and issues to the Framework HS&E Manager • Undertake site inspections, audits and compliance checks

What You Bring

The successful candidate will have previous HS&E experience in construction, infrastructure or utilities, hold a NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate (or be working towards it), and possess a solid understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation. Strong communication, a proactive solutions‑focused attitude, Microsoft Office competence and a full UK driving licence are also required. • NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate (or working towards) • Experience within a regulated or infrastructure environment (water industry desirable) • Good understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence operations positively • Competency in Microsoft Office systems • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally • Member of IOSH or IIRSM • Working towards TechIOSH / CMIOSH • NVQ Level 3 or above in a relevant discipline
