About the Role
The Medication Tech provides resident care services, including assistance with self‑administration of medication, to residents in the Assisted Living area under the supervision of the Resident Care Director (RCD). Duties are scheduled and also include helping maintain a positive physical and social environment. Areas of Responsibility: The Tech approaches all encounters with residents, associates, and visitors in a friendly, service‑oriented manner; assists residents with medications as allowed under State guidelines; helps with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, linen changes, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care; works closely with Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care; participates in and leads resident activities as needed; and meets customer‑service standards with resident satisfaction as a priority. Other duties are assigned as outlined in the full job description. • Assist residents with self‑administration of medication per state guidelines. • Support activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, linen changes, positioning, transfers, mobility, incontinence care). • Communicate daily with Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care. • Participate in and lead resident activities. • Provide friendly, service‑oriented interactions with residents, staff, and visitors. • Meet customer service standards and prioritize resident satisfaction.
