What You Bring
The Mount Isa branch is looking for experienced Field Service Technicians to maintain client fleets of Sandvik Mining equipment both on‑site and in the workshop. The role involves inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs of specialist mining equipment on an 8‑days‑on, 6‑days‑off FIFO roster, helping to improve machine efficiency and client productivity while expanding the support division. The ideal candidate is a Mount Isa local or willing to relocate, holds an Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certification, and preferably has experience with Sandvik underground mining equipment. They must demonstrate a strong safety culture, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, customer‑service focus, basic computer literacy, a Class C manual driver’s licence, and the ability to work unsupervised, as well as pass medical, reference, police and drug‑and‑alcohol checks and have the right to work in Australia. • Hold an Australian recognized Mechanical Trade Certification. • Preferable experience with Sandvik underground mining equipment. • Demonstrate strong safety culture, communication skills, and customer service focus. • Possess a Class C manual driver’s licence and basic computer literacy.
