About the Role

The Property Manager, Multifamily at Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for maintaining community properties to a market‑ready standard while delivering a high level of resident service. The role requires motivating and leading a high‑performing on‑site team to maximize property performance and profitability. Key duties include overseeing all daily operations such as maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, collections, evictions, marketing, lease renewals, and service contracts. The manager ensures superior resident communication, tracks advertising effectiveness, and drives revenue through competitive market analysis and creative marketing programs. Leadership responsibilities involve recruiting, hiring, coaching, and retaining staff across leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management functions, while modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission and maintaining compliance with company policies. The manager also monitors community budgets, resolves resident conflicts promptly, and maintains accurate resident files. • Oversee daily property operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, collections, evictions, and service contracts. • Ensure market‑ready standards and high‑level resident service to boost satisfaction, renewals, and profitability. • Complete lease and renewal paperwork in accordance with company standards. • Track advertising performance and manage marketing initiatives to drive occupancy. • Recruit, hire, coach, and retain a cohesive on‑site team across leasing, customer service, and maintenance. • Supervise day‑to‑day team activities and enforce Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures. • Resolve resident conflicts promptly and maintain positive living environments. • Manage community budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting. • Analyze competition and develop creative marketing programs to increase revenue. • Maintain accurate resident files and ensure compliance with company standards.

What You Bring

The position requires a bachelor’s degree (preferred), a real‑estate license (preferred), and at least three years of property management and management experience. Candidates must be computer literate, possess strong communication and customer‑service skills, and be able to meet physical demands such as standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 25 lb. • Possess 3+ years of property management and management experience; bachelor’s degree and real‑estate license preferred. • Demonstrate strong communication, customer service, and computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet navigation).
