About the Role

Advisory professionals at WSP USA develop business and operational solutions across the entire asset life‑cycle, blending infrastructure expertise with management‑consulting leadership. The Associate Program’s mission is to expose early‑career talent to a wide range of practices and services, building well‑rounded consultants and ultimately placing them in the service area that best matches their strengths. The role involves delivering analytical and strategic support throughout the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, including stakeholder engagement, documentation, and financial evaluation. • Analyze client needs, industry trends, and evaluate alternatives for infrastructure projects. • Develop business cases, financial models, and quantitative analyses for investments. • Write reports, grant applications, and support client workshops and meetings. • Research and interpret legislation, policy, and funding options across infrastructure sectors. • Provide strategic support throughout all phases of infrastructure planning and development.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a master’s degree (or a bachelor’s degree plus 1‑3 years relevant experience) in engineering, planning, data science, or a related field, strong written and verbal communication, analytical and quantitative abilities, proven research skills, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively. Preferred qualifications add 1‑2 years of field‑specific experience, familiarity with the financial aspects of various infrastructure domains, software proficiency (GIS, programming, Power BI, Maximo, etc.), and a solid understanding of federal and state infrastructure policy. • Required: Master’s (or Bachelor’s + 1‑3 yr) in engineering, planning, data science or related field. • Demonstrated strong written/verbal communication and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently, think creatively, and deliver high‑quality work with minimal supervision. • Proficiency in technical writing, office software, spreadsheets; familiarity with GIS, programming, Power BI, etc. (preferred). • Interest or experience in transportation, water, energy, buildings, or related infrastructure. • Up to 2 years directly relevant experience (or 4 years non‑relevant) required.

Compensation is listed at $90,000 to $100,818 annually, with adjustments for geography, experience, and internal equity. • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement savings, paid sick/vacation/parental leave, and additional paid time off. • Salary range: $90,000 – $100,818, adjusted for location and experience.
