About the Role

Engineers are expected to perform facility inspections, generate reports on conditions affecting occupancy, and ensure timely response to emergencies, which may involve travel between sites. They also manage inventory, compile monthly operation reports for management, and uphold safety standards by adhering to codes, regulations, and proper PPE usage. • Ensure ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, lighting, and other installed systems, equipment, and components. • Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds for assigned client buildings. • Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as‑found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations. • Respond effectively to all emergencies, which may require light travel during emergency events. • Operate, maintain, and repair all boilers, heaters, pumps, valves, and lines used in the distribution of steam and heated or processed water. • Maintain stock and inventory control. • Recommend improvements to the preventive maintenance program on an ongoing basis. • Compile and submit monthly reports to keep the management team informed of current building operations. • Study and become familiar with equipment at assigned client locations, including building automation, fire/life safety, and other building‑related systems. • Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them or use the correct PPE. • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and safe work habits. • Maintain all required Federal, State, or Local licenses for assigned locations. • Complete all required C&W Safety Training annually. • Comply with C&W Uniform Dress Code while working and maintain a neat and clean appearance.

Strong interpersonal skills, basic computer abilities in Outlook, Excel, Word, and experience with computerized maintenance management systems are also required. Physical work includes lifting up to 50 lb, climbing, stooping, and using PPE, with occasional travel to different properties.
