About the Role
The Mechanical Engineer will provide technical leadership on large‑scale mechanical design projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high‑quality engineering deliverables throughout all project phases. • Represent the firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and project stakeholders. • Conduct field inspections and produce detailed inspection reports. • Assist senior engineers with due‑diligence, feasibility, gap analysis, and technical report preparation. • Coordinate design efforts across mechanical, architectural, structural, electrical, and telecom disciplines. • Create basic mechanical designs, perform equipment selections, and execute load, energy, and pressure drop calculations. • Organize drawings according to company standards and manage drawing documentation. • Support project scheduling, manpower planning, and budgeting activities. • Process RFIs, change orders, bulletins, and addenda. • Establish system design and operational parameters under senior guidance. • Develop system narratives, specifications, and layout drawings for various project sizes. • Oversee QA/QC processes for assigned work and review contributions of others. • Perform construction administration duties, including field investigations and coordination. • Manage CAD/BIM and other technical staff as assigned for specific projects. • Assist with employee performance reviews when requested. • Estimate construction costs and evaluate feasibility using ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) estimates. • Write engineering proposals under senior direction.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, possess 1.5‑8 years of consulting experience, be EIT certified (PE preferred), and demonstrate proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and coordination of mechanical systems with other disciplines. • Hold LEED AP accreditation (highly preferred) and demonstrate strong coordination of mechanical systems with other building systems. • Maintain proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; PE licensure is preferred.

The salary range for this position is $55,698 to $135,202 USD, with final compensation based on experience, skill set, and location.
