About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for producing end‑to‑end fiber optic networks, testing and troubleshooting continuity, operating a variety of testing equipment, and working on outdoor utility construction sites. You will also prepare splice enclosures and apply fiber engineering knowledge to read designs and assess light levels and loss. • Test and troubleshoot fiber optic network continuity • Operate testing equipment (OTDR, OLTS, power meters) and resolve common challenges • Prepare fiber splice enclosures (Tyco, CommScope, Corning, etc.) • Utilize fusion splicer and related test equipment (1310/1550, DWDM, CWDM) • Apply fiber engineering knowledge to read designs, documentation, light levels, and dB loss • Work on outdoor utility construction sites

What You Bring
