Job Highlights
About the Role
The position involves providing testing and consulting services for the built environment, including property condition assessments, specialized testing, forensic investigations, and the design of repairs for existing structures. Projects may cover a range of facilities‑related services such as enclosure testing, air‑leakage analysis, and performance evaluations. • Conduct building enclosure inspections, testing, and assessments. • Perform air leakage and field performance testing. • Observe construction quality and assess roofing systems. • Review design specifications and provide commissioning consulting. • Execute occasional laboratory testing and ensure PPE compliance. • Prepare reports, proposals, and project documentation. • Coordinate and supervise facilities technicians. • Mentor junior staff and interact with senior team members. • Maintain responsibility, organization, reliability, and time‑management. • Lead high‑impact, technically complex projects. • Contribute to a collaborative, innovative, and learning‑focused environment.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, with a B.Arch, M.Arch (NCARB) accredited degree or a BS in Engineering, Building Science, or a related field preferred. Applicants need 0‑2 years of relevant building facilities consulting experience, or alternatively four years of ECS Facilities Staff experience, and experience with non‑destructive testing is a plus. • Hold a High School Diploma/GED; B.Arch, M.Arch (NCARB) or BS in Engineering/Building Science preferred. • Possess 0‑2 years of building facilities consulting experience (or 4 years ECS staff equivalent). • Experience with non‑destructive testing is advantageous.
