About the Role

• Coordinate daily schedules with area executives, department heads, employees and customers, and gather examiner feedback each morning. • Conduct annual equipment surveys and plan preventive repair schedules. • Perform NIS for new construction and modernization jobs and estimate additional work beyond the prescribed scope. • Lead toolbox talks to reinforce safe work practices among field staff. • Execute fatality preventive audits, conduct toolbox demonstrations, and prepare quarterly review reports. • Generate "T" orders and implement strategies to reduce callbacks, focusing on the top ten recurring issues. • Inspect work progress and perform random quality checks; allocate manpower daily based on callback volume. • Ensure strict adherence to environmental, health and safety (EH&S) policies and practices. • Meet clients regularly to strengthen relationships, address examiner concerns, and build confidence. • Communicate with clients for contract renewals and inspect elevators two months before free‑service contracts expire. • Negotiate contract pricing and "T" orders, managing effective conversions when needed. • Lead and support teams to complete tasks while identifying opportunities for additional business. • Drive acquisition, recovery efforts and target achievement.

What You Bring

Otis is seeking a Field Supervisor – Service for its Bangalore office (MK Towers, Longford Road). The position requires a Diploma or BE in Engineering and 12 to 18 years of experience in the elevator industry, with at least 12 years in elevator and escalator maintenance.
