About the Role
The Truck Driver is responsible for safe, efficient, and timely transportation of materials to and from suppliers, vendors, and local customers. Operating Truck Unit 20, the driver uses trailers, tarps, and straps to secure loads while performing routine vehicle inspections and maintaining delivery documentation in compliance with safety regulations. A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required, and candidates must reside within 50 miles of Highland, IL, as no relocation assistance is provided. • Pick up steel coils from suppliers and vendors. • Perform local deliveries to customers in the Troy and Highland areas. • Complete miscellaneous pickups and deliveries as needed.
