About the Role
In this role you will support the preparation of high‑quality bids, plan and organise all phases of ecological project work, and provide consultancy and advisory services to internal and external clients. You will also develop pragmatic solutions to complex ecological issues, produce ecology chapters for environmental statements and protected‑species licence applications, and ensure deliverables meet the highest technical standards. • Prepare high‑quality, commercially‑savvy bids and tenders for ecological services in energy, transport and water sectors. • Plan, schedule and organise all phases of ecological projects, managing resources, budgets and controls. • Deliver ecological consultancy and advisory services, including check and review processes. • Develop technically robust, pragmatic solutions to complex ecological issues. • Communicate professionally with ecology team members, project stakeholders and clients. • Produce ecology chapters for environmental statements and protected‑species licence applications. • Author or technically review project deliverables to ensure high‑quality outputs.

What You Bring
• Demonstrated experience planning and delivering ecological services on UK or Ireland projects. • Strong understanding of wildlife conservation and membership/chartership progress with a professional body (e.g., CIEEM). • Excellent field skills in at least one specialist area, including protected‑species licences. • Proactive health‑and‑safety approach and ability to mentor and support team members.
