Lead mechanical projects as Engineer of Record, overseeing design, staff and client coordination.

About the Role
You will guide the engineering team, manage project finances, and maintain client relationships while ensuring timely delivery of mechanical systems. • Act as Engineer of Record on dedicated projects. • Supervise and lead coordination meetings. • Provide periodic employee evaluations. • Assist Technical Manager and Chief Engineer with training and mentoring. • Coordinate and assign system design and project engineering tasks. • Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria. • Manage construction administration: field reports, RFIs, bulletins, and addenda. • Prepare monthly project invoices and monitor accounts receivable. • Oversee correspondence with staff, clients, contractors, and owners. • Contribute to firmwide Expert Teams committee. • Participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management. • Prepare proposals and administer project contracts and service agreements. • Supervise preparation of analysis and reports of system options and building conditions.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a current PE license, have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and bring at least 12 years of consulting experience, including healthcare design and work on critical facilities, commercial or aviation projects. A minimum of three years of supervisory experience, strong hands‑on design skills, and proficiency with CAD/Revit are required.
