About the Role

The firm is hiring a Director of Project Controls to lead cost, schedule and risk management for a large‑scale data centre construction program in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. This senior leadership position establishes robust project‑controls processes, ensures accurate forecasting and reporting, and partners with project leadership, contractors and clients to maintain transparency and drive performance. The role also supports major client accounts and broader business initiatives. • Set strategic direction for cost, schedule, and risk controls on a large data‑center program. • Design and enforce governance frameworks, reporting protocols, and project‑controls processes. • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, earned‑value analysis, variance reporting and lifecycle cost estimating. • Lead development and integration of detailed CPM schedules (Primavera P6/MS Project) and manage critical‑path recovery. • Create and manage risk registers, conduct risk workshops and perform Monte Carlo analyses. • Administer change‑control processes, evaluate scope changes and drive cost‑reduction initiatives. • Produce executive dashboards, gateway documents and performance reports for senior leadership. • Coordinate cost and schedule alignment with project managers, finance teams and contractors. • Ensure data integrity using Primavera P6, MS Project and cost‑management systems. • Develop protocols for performance measurement, forecasting, trending and baseline reporting. • Lead, mentor and evaluate a high‑performing project‑controls team. • Act as liaison with stakeholders, reviewing implementation plans, claims and recovery strategies. • Identify process‑improvement opportunities and share best practices across projects. • Adhere to SOX control requirements where applicable.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Finance or related field; graduate degree preferred. • 12+ years of project‑controls experience on large‑scale construction programs, with at least 2 years leading teams in a consulting environment. • Proven track record managing multi‑million‑dollar budgets, schedules and risk; expertise in baseline monitoring and performance metrics. • Deep knowledge of cost forecasting, earned‑value management, risk analysis and change management across various contract delivery methods. • Experience implementing integrated project‑controls systems for major capital projects. • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, cost‑management software and advanced Excel for data analysis. • Professional certifications such as CCP, PSP, PMP highly desirable. • Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders. • Understanding of industry standards, regulatory and compliance frameworks for large construction programs.
