About the Role

The Leasing Consultant role at Cushman & Wakefield works closely with the onsite management team to create a welcoming first impression for visitors, prospects, and residents, while managing personal success through occupancy and rent growth targets. Key responsibilities include touring the property to generate interest, highlighting community amenities and lifestyle, qualifying prospects by gathering information and initiating background checks, preparing apartments for move‑in, delivering exceptional resident service to drive retention, and handling all necessary paperwork related to rentals. • Tour the property and generate interest among prospects. • Collect prospect information and initiate background checks. • Prepare apartments for resident move‑in. • Provide unmatched service to retain residents. • Coordinate and complete rental paperwork efficiently. • Maintain accurate leasing records using Windows‑based systems. • Assist leasing staff with daily leasing activities. • Meet deadlines and follow all company policies and procedures. • Stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods as needed.

What You Bring

Benefits

Compensation is hourly at $15.30–$18.00, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, retirement plans, and other insurance options; pay may vary based on location, experience, and collective bargaining agreements, but will not fall below minimum wage.
