About the Role
Reporting to the Regional Quality Manager, the specialist ensures the Baker Hughes Quality Management System is applied effectively across projects and suppliers, supporting problem solving, quality reporting, and continuous improvement while interacting directly with customers and suppliers. • Close supplier nonconformities, screen them and assess need for investigation. • Manage contractors and oversee supplier‑related failure investigations with the SQE. • Qualify new raw materials by preparing and approving Supplier Inspection and Testing Plans. • Address quality concerns, initiate stop‑the‑line actions and manage non‑conformities. • Participate in and analyze engineering change requests. • Interpret technical drawings and coordinate with international teams in English. • Oversee the Notification of Inspection process. • Create quality plans using standard templates, including customer‑specific and API Q1 (10th edition) requirements. • Lead assessment, qualification, monitoring, and re‑evaluation of service providers. • Manage non‑conformance and concessions approval to ensure contract compliance. • Communicate project information with internal and external customers to build relationships. • Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and SQE teams to guarantee project quality. • Prepare and present quality performance reports to leadership and customers.
