About the Role

• Prepare electrical cost estimates, takeoffs, and bid proposals • Perform quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam and estimating software • Support senior estimators with project analysis, scope reviews, and pricing • Develop detailed estimates and material pricing with McCormick and Accubid • Review electrical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and PDFs • Maintain organized estimate files, databases, and historical cost data • Communicate with vendors and suppliers for pricing and lead times • Participate in pre‑bid meetings and internal estimate reviews • Manage multiple estimates simultaneously in a fast‑paced setting

The ideal candidate thrives under deadlines, adapts quickly to changing priorities, and is eager to grow within a dynamic electrical contracting environment. • Work efficiently in high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment • 1–3 years experience in electrical or construction estimating (preferred) • Proficiency with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, McCormick, and Accubid • Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and construction documents • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time‑management skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience with commercial or industrial electrical projects • Electrical field experience or relevant technical education • Familiarity with local and regional construction markets
