Customer Service – Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property Managers work independently across multiple locations, both inside and outside the facilities. They assess customers’ storage needs, suggest solutions and sell packing and moving supplies, conduct daily unit inspections, audit cash drawers, make bank deposits, and handle payment reminders and collection calls. • Operate autonomously across several storage properties. • Identify client storage requirements and propose appropriate solutions, including the sale of packing supplies. • Execute routine inspections of storage units to verify availability and condition. • Reconcile cash drawers and process bank deposits daily. • Perform outreach for payment reminders and conduct collection calls when needed. • Lift and maneuver items up to 35 lb while navigating outdoor areas, stairs, and large doors. • Carry out cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping indoor spaces, and maintaining exterior curb appeal. • Deliver high‑quality customer service in a sales‑driven environment.

What You Bring

The role requires the ability to lift or move items up to 35 lb and to spend roughly half of the workday outdoors, including climbing stairs and opening large doors. Cleaning and basic maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping interior spaces and keeping exterior grounds free of debris are also part of the job. Successful candidates have experience in customer‑service‑focused sales environments such as retail, restaurant or fast‑food operations. A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required for traveling between sites, with mileage reimbursement provided. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and use a personal vehicle for inter‑site travel, with mileage reimbursed.
