A homebuilder focused on delivering affordable, quality homes across the U.S.
Technical Product Manager - FP&A
Lead FP&A platform strategy and delivery across Oracle systems for homebuilding.
Job Highlights
About the Role
The Technical Product Manager (TPM) will lead the evolution of FP&A platforms within a large‑scale homebuilding organization, owning the roadmap and delivery of budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and management reporting capabilities across Oracle JD Edwards (E1) and Oracle EPM solutions. The role sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and product, requiring deep knowledge of homebuilding financial models and enterprise financial‑system transformation experience. In product strategy, the TPM defines the end‑to‑end vision, translates business needs into product requirements, and works with finance leaders to prioritize initiatives based on value, impact, and complexity. As the Oracle EPM transformation lead, the TPM partners with the Lennar Technology Group and finance teams to design scalable FP&A architectures, drive integrations with E1, data warehouses, and reporting tools, and ensure future‑state readiness. The TPM serves as a trusted partner to FP&A leaders, supporting community‑ and division‑level forecasting, land‑acquisition modeling, cost‑to‑complete analysis, and homebuilding‑specific complexities such as multi‑entity structures, job‑cost accounting, and revenue recognition. They also collaborate with architects, developers, data engineers, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality releases through agile execution, balancing configuration versus customization for long‑term maintainability. Stakeholder and change management responsibilities include driving user adoption through training, documentation, and communication of roadmap progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership. Success is measured by faster, more accurate, and more automated financial planning cycles, tightly integrated and governed Oracle platforms, and the TPM being viewed as a strategic partner rather than just a delivery lead. • Translate finance business needs into product requirements, epics, and user stories. • Lead Oracle EPM modernization, designing scalable FP&A architectures and data‑warehouse integrations. • Partner with finance leaders on community‑level forecasting, land acquisition modeling, cost‑to‑complete and margin analysis. • Address homebuilding complexities such as multi‑entity structures, job‑cost accounting, and revenue recognition. • Collaborate with architects, developers, data engineers, and QA to deliver high‑quality agile releases. • Drive user adoption through training, documentation, and change‑management communication. • Report roadmap progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
