EPP Department Manager - Southeast
Lead the Southeast EPP department, overseeing staff, finances, and complex environmental projects.

About the Role
Key duties include providing technical leadership, reviewing proposals, developing business plans, advising regional managers on growth and staffing, maintaining a hands‑on role as project manager or technical lead, and driving financial performance and client satisfaction. The manager also spearheads business development, resolves operational issues, creates standards for resource activities, and contributes to regional strategy and planning. • Supervise a team of about 60 environmental planners, engineers, and scientists in the Southeast EPP division. • Responsible for the department’s financial results, including budgeting and profit‑and‑loss management. • Direct the creation of NEPA assessments, environmental impact statements, and other permitting documentation. • Manage multi‑million‑dollar contracts and public‑outreach components for complex projects. • Mentor, recruit, and retain technical staff, promoting professional growth. • Collaborate with sales and regional managers to expand business and maintain high client satisfaction. • Identify and resolve operational challenges, establishing standards for natural‑resource work.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a BA/BS in environmental sciences with at least ten years of relevant experience, including two years in a leadership role, possess a valid driver’s license, and be US citizens. Preferred qualifications include an MA/MS or MBA, more than fifteen years of natural‑resource investigation experience in the Southeast, and demonstrated ability to manage interdisciplinary teams and complex fiscal reporting. • Hold a BA/BS in Environmental Sciences (or related field) with ten or more years of experience and at least two years of leadership. • Preferred: advanced degree (MA/MS or MBA), 15+ years of Southeast natural‑resource investigation experience, and strong fiscal management background.
