Driver - CDL (B)

About the Role

A Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The driver ensures the vehicle complies with the Company’s safety standards, adheres to all applicable regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects. Key responsibilities include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, reading route sheets, and servicing customers along designated routes. Drivers operate manual or automatic controls to lift, load, and compact refuse, interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, monitor waste for issues, clean spills, and keep the vehicle clean and ready for service. They also complete required productivity and reporting forms, maintain productivity standards, follow safety policies, and participate in the Company’s ReSOP program.

What You Bring

Minimum requirements are a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brakes endorsement. The role demands strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through skills, as well as a commitment to safety policies, honesty, and pride in one’s work.
