About the Role

As a Senior Buyer on the Procurement team, you will drive operational and advanced procurement activities and lead cross‑functional teams in strategic planning, analysis, and execution of consolidated purchase agreements. You will integrate the supplier base with BOS procedures, negotiate agreements to leverage capabilities and volume, and manage all suppliers within the Product Business Units. You will coordinate program procurement for the After‑Market Parts business unit, develop strategies, and lead cross‑functional teams to achieve cost‑reduction goals, improve working capital, and ensure timely product launches. Financial control over modular programs from phase 0‑5, compliance with BOS, PDP and POS procedures, and management of supplier RFQs, contracts, and disputes are also key duties. Supporting make‑or‑buy decisions, SKU rationalization, global commodity strategies, reporting, standardization, and diversity initiatives are part of the role. • Lead operational and advanced procurement activities • Manage cross‑functional strategic planning, analysis, and consolidated purchase agreements • Integrate supplier base with BOS procedures and negotiate volume agreements • Oversee supplier management for Product Business Units • Coordinate program procurement for After‑Market Parts business unit • Implement cost‑reduction strategies and improve working capital through optimal payment terms • Ensure timely product launches and maintain procurement results through production start • Provide financial control over modular programs from phase 0‑5 throughout their lifecycle • Ensure cost, quality, and timely supply compliance with business plans and budgets • Drive make‑or‑buy decisions and support value‑analysis/value‑engineering initiatives • Conduct SKU rationalization and support VA/VE activities • Maintain compliance with BOS, PDP, and POS procedures • Manage supplier RFQs, contract negotiations, payment queries, and dispute resolutions • Support supplier reduction targets and global commodity strategies • Report key performance metrics accurately and timely • Lead standardization and continuous improvement activities • Implement diversity strategies in procurement

What You Bring

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field and at least five years of procurement experience, including buying and commodity management, are required. Candidates must have strong analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills, be highly motivated, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, business systems, and the ability to travel up to 20% is essential; knowledge of ERP systems and an MBA are preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field • Minimum five years procurement experience, including commodity buying and management • Strong analytical, summarization, and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated leadership, organization, planning, and teamwork abilities • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems software • Ability to travel up to 20% to suppliers and warehouses in North America • Preferred knowledge of ERP systems and MBA qualification
