About the Role

The role is accountable for the planning function across defined portfolios, ensuring effective planning, scheduling and monitoring of projects and tenders, and driving consistent deployment of planning and project controls procedures across complex projects and business units. Mace promotes safety, client focus, integrity, and opportunity, fostering a safe, diverse, and inclusive environment, delivering quality outcomes, acting ethically, and encouraging continuous improvement. • Manage planning delivery across assignments and business areas aligned to strategic objectives. • Influence negotiations, governance and long‑term functional strategy with integrity and commercial rigour. • Develop and retain high‑performing, inclusive teams through mentoring and talent development. • Plan and schedule delivery across medium to high complexity projects, programmes and portfolios. • Provide expert project controls, Earned Value Management and data‑driven analysis for corrective actions. • Inspire and develop planning teams via performance management, coaching and technical leadership. • Support senior management in negotiations, business development and net zero carbon delivery. • Confidently manage activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome.
