About the Role
The position involves setting up and operating a heavy-duty power press to bend, form, stretch, and straighten a variety of products such as plates, extrusions, and structural shapes according to blueprints, layouts, and templates. You will plan the sequence of operations, assist in running multiple automatic or multi-slide presses, and work from drawings, route sheets, schedules, and verbal instructions. Material handling includes checking size and type, loading coils, adjusting uncoilers and rollers, and moving materials with a lift truck or crane. Precision measurement is critical; you will use micrometers, calipers, scales, and fixed gauges to verify work-in-process dimensions and ensure compliance with specifications. Safety duties include installing and checking safety devices, reporting faulty equipment or defective material, and maintaining a tidy work area while adhering to all safety regulations. • Set up and operate heavy‑duty power press to bend, form, stretch, and straighten plates, extrusions, and structural shapes per blueprints. • Plan operation sequences and assist with multiple automatic or multi‑slide presses for various stamping products. • Load coils, adjust uncoilers and material rollers, and verify material size and type before processing. • Use micrometers, calipers, scales, and fixed gauges to check work‑in‑process dimensions against specifications. • Move materials with lift truck or crane, install safety devices, and report equipment faults or defective material. • Observe all safety rules, maintain a clean work area, and be prepared to work overtime as needed.

What You Bring
The role requires at least a high school diploma (or equivalent) and three or more years of progressive die stamping press experience. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment, possess strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills, and be detail-oriented. Physical demands include lifting at least 25 lb, bending, squatting, reaching overhead, climbing stairs or ladders, and working in confined spaces. • Minimum 3 + years progressive die stamping press experience; high school diploma or equivalent required. • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. • Physical ability to lift at least 25 lb, bend, squat, reach overhead, climb stairs or ladders, and work in confined spaces.
