Safety Engineer

About the Role

The role is responsible for supporting the area/team using basic, established technical capabilities and supports the health‑safety and wellbeing (HSW) team and projects. You’ll be responsible for supporting the implementation of health‑safety and wellbeing policies, procedures, guidance notes and standards; collaborating with teams to support audits for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and other standards; coordinating inspection and audit schedules; analysing results from reporting, audits, corrective actions, operations reports and KPIs; assisting with gap identification for improvement; developing working relationships with internal stakeholders; delivering operational aspects of team/regional strategy; and working collaboratively toward the net‑zero carbon transition by managing associated emissions and reductions. • Implement health, safety, and wellbeing (HSW) policies and standards. • Support ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 audits and coordinate inspection schedules. • Analyse audit results, KPIs, and corrective actions to identify improvement gaps. • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders. • Deliver operational aspects of team and regional strategies. • Contribute to net‑zero carbon transition by managing emissions and reductions.
