About the Role
The technician performs a wide range of maintenance duties, including installation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of production machines and facility systems, while responding to emergency and unscheduled repairs. Daily preventive maintenance on equipment, oversight of OEM technicians and contractors, and interpretation of technical manuals and schematics are core tasks. The role also involves advising operators on safe usage, communicating hazards, and supporting equipment installation, decommissioning, and special projects, all while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. • Perform installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production machines and facility systems. • Respond to emergency repairs and unscheduled maintenance on equipment. • Conduct daily and scheduled preventive maintenance on facility and test bench equipment. • Oversee OEM technicians and contractors, ensuring compliance with site policies. • Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders accurately. • Advise operators on safe equipment usage and communicate safety hazards. • Support equipment installation, decommissioning, plumbing, carpentry, and special projects. • Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces in line with safety regulations.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold an associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance with at least three years of manufacturing experience, or have completed an apprenticeship with five years of experience, and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred qualifications include cross‑disciplinary proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and machining, strong blueprint reading, troubleshooting, and knowledge of OSHA, LOTO, and SAP. Effective communication skills and familiarity with Rolls‑Royce products and industrial HVAC systems are also valued. • Flexibly work overtime or adjust shift patterns as production needs change. • Associate degree in mechanical/electrical/industrial maintenance with 3+ years experience, or apprenticeship with 5+ years experience; authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. • Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and machining disciplines. • Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic blueprints and schematics. • Hands‑on experience with welding, pipe fitting, lubrication systems, and manual machining tools. • Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and independent/team work capabilities. • Knowledge of OSHA standards, LOTO procedures, and regulatory compliance. • Effective verbal and written communication; proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP. • Certification or strong working knowledge of industrial HVAC systems. • Experience with heavy‑duty diesel engine manufacturing and familiarity with Rolls‑Royce Solutions America products.
