About the Role
The Senior Finance Manager role is responsible for client‑facing financial reporting and analysis for facility and project management on assigned accounts. This position leads a team of financial analysts and operates in a dynamic, high‑volume environment, partnering with service lines and operations to deliver accurate financial insights. Key duties include managing variance cost reporting, change request administration, client pricing exhibits, budgeting, forecasting, and preparing month‑end reports, accruals, and invoices for both internal and external stakeholders. The manager also ensures timely delivery of ad‑hoc analyses and supports the Finance Director with corporate budget, forecast, revenue, audit, tax, balance‑sheet, and accounts‑receivable requirements. The role requires calculating and documenting change requests that affect the Master Service Agreement or pricing exhibits, preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for client presentations, and streamlining financial processes across the Aviation platform. Additionally, the manager facilitates the compilation, customization, and consolidation of annual facility‑management expense budgets for client‑managed locations. Compliance is a critical aspect of the position, encompassing quarterly revenue‑recognition attestations, adherence to JLL policies, SOCR standards, and SAS70 internal review criteria. The manager must also support internal audit processes and ensure financial completeness for all reporting cycles. • Lead and develop a team of financial analysts. • Deliver variance cost reporting, change request management, and client pricing exhibits. • Produce month‑end financial reports, accrual verification, budgets, forecasts, and ad‑hoc analyses. • Calculate and document change requests impacting the MSA or pricing exhibits. • Prepare quarterly financial statements for internal and external audiences. • Streamline financial processes across the Aviation platform. • Compile and consolidate annual facility‑management expense budgets. • Ensure compliance with JLL policies, SOCR, SAS70 audit standards, and revenue‑recognition attestations.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and possess 5–10 years of relevant experience. Required skills include leadership, advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet, strong financial modeling, high attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication. Preferred qualifications are an MBA or CPA, experience with SQL, PeopleSoft or JD Edwards, and background in payroll billing and client invoicing. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance plus 5–10 years of relevant experience. • Demonstrated leadership, advanced Excel/PowerPoint/Smartsheet skills, and strong financial modeling ability. • Preferred MBA or CPA; experience with SQL, PeopleSoft or JD Edwards; payroll billing and client invoicing.

The estimated base compensation ranges from $120,000 to $145,000 per year, with the position being remote based in Chicago, IL.
