About the Role

• Document and review medication administration, refer to residents’ charts, and administer medications per physician orders • Ensure medications are given at appropriate times and order residents’ medications promptly • Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals about residents’ medications, treatments, and therapies • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care • Respond to resident emergency call system

What You Bring

Spring Arbor Senior Living of Kinston is seeking qualified Medication Technicians to join our Assisted Living team. Individuals are responsible for managing the medication administration program in accordance with state regulations, and they direct Resident Assistants while coordinating services under the Resident Care Director’s guidance. Med Techs will develop positive relationships with team members, families, and residents. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and show a genuine concern for and strong interest in working with seniors. • State-specific Medication Technician / Registered Medication Aide certification • CNA or PCA/DCS certification in addition to Med Tech license • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum age 18 (must be 21 if also serving as an SIC) • Current CPR and First Aid certifications
