About the Role

The Sr. Sourcing Manager will provide overall direction to the sourcing team supporting the Grid Automation (GA) strategic business unit of Hubbell Utility Solutions. Reporting to the Senior Director, Sourcing HUS, the role manages a team of Sourcing Managers, Specialists, and Agents and is accountable for meeting material cost‑reduction targets, ensuring on‑time project delivery, and executing category strategies. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include managing and supporting a Sourcing Manager for their commodities, collaborating with internal Strategic Business Unit stakeholders on productivity improvements, and overseeing supply‑chain performance management. The manager will develop and execute risk‑reducing direct‑material sourcing strategies, focusing on casting, forging, stamping, electronics, and fiberglass spend across regions. This includes creating action plans that balance total cost of ownership with risk mitigation, and coordinating with Corporate Sourcing to identify optimal cost options for multiple Hubbell Utility Systems Business Units.

What You Bring

• BS in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering. • 5–10 years of validated experience or equivalent education and experience. • Experience working with manufacturing engineering and program management teams. • Proven negotiation skills within a matrixed corporate environment (internal and external). • Knowledge of materials management, JIT, total cost of ownership, and working capital. • CPSM or APICS certification is a plus.
