About the Role
The primary purpose of the role is to support the project engineer in leading and overseeing the engineering and commissioning of crane systems. The engineer ensures successful integration, installation, calibration, and functionality while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include preparing technical specifications and site estimates, coordinating with subcontractors, and providing engineering support throughout the project lifecycle. The incumbent also contributes to design reviews, method statements, risk assessments, and ensures rigorous safety and HSE compliance. • Assist the project engineer with technical specifications, site estimations, and subcontractor offers. • Design substation, switchgear, cable sizing, and scheduling. • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. • Apply problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. • Ensure compliance with electrical design standards. • Manage project monitoring, scheduling, cost control, and resource allocation. • Prepare method statements and risk assessments. • Provide technical and engineering support to the line manager. • Prepare technical inspection reports and documentation for final handover, including punch‑list work and cost allocation. • Participate in design reviews and product development for electrification and hybridization projects. • Apply highest safety standards to all WCS activities. • Implement and monitor WCS HSE compliance policies.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and may be fresh graduates or have up to one year of experience. Required skills include knowledge of electrical design standards, switchgear, transformers, and optionally crane control systems such as PLCs and drives, along with strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities. • Hold a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent). • Possess technical knowledge of electrical design for switchgear and transformers. • Familiar with crane control systems such as PLCs and drives (optional). • Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, logical thinking, and attention to detail. • Exhibit excellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and methodical work approaches.
