About the Role

• Collect and organize punch lists, inventory, and work production plans for easy retrieval and documentation. • Process invoices and billing under supervision of project manager or accountant. • Train new project admins/clerks. • Perform basic inventory control directed by project management staff. • Assist with record retention and document controls. • Conduct basic field quality and safety inspections. • Document conformance to plans and specifications. • Promote Mortenson’s safety culture. • Build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.

What You Bring

Mortenson is seeking a Construction Coordinator I who can interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. The role requires 100% travel with a rotating schedule of five days every three weeks, and visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. The posting is typically open for a minimum of five days, with an average of 44 days. Mortenson does not accept unsolicited agency communications without a valid agreement. • High school diploma or equivalent; construction site experience preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet; able to learn construction management software. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage detailed information, meet deadlines, and multitask. • Active listening and openness to diverse input and feedback. • Ability to travel up to 100%.

Base pay ranges from $27.55 to $37.21 per hour, with higher rates for specific office locations such as Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C.
