About the Role
The manager will provide strategic leadership to meet financial and growth goals, overseeing productivity, profitability, client satisfaction, and work quality. Responsibilities include developing marketing and business development plans, building a production team, managing budgets, billing, collections, and project backlogs, while optimizing staff utilization and fostering professional development and compliance. • Lead the discipline to achieve financial and growth targets. • Drive productivity, profitability, client satisfaction, and quality of work. • Develop and execute marketing and business development strategies. • Build and manage a high‑performing production team. • Oversee budgets, billing, collections, and monitor project backlogs. • Optimize staff utilization and address under‑performance promptly. • Foster professional development, recruit talent, and manage employee relations. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. • Serve as project manager, delivering projects on scope, schedule, quality, and budget. • Provide technical guidance on proposals, contracts, and client meetings. • Mentor and coach staff, conduct performance evaluations, and support promotions. • Manage subconsultant contracts and collaborate with partner firms.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, with at least eight years of civil/municipal engineering experience focused on public infrastructure.
