About the Role

Key responsibilities include successfully finishing the CDL training program, completing twelve months of employment after obtaining the license, and performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls. Trainees will learn to operate heavy trucks safely along designated routes, read route sheets, lift and load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of material at the appropriate facility. They will also identify unsatisfactory waste containers, monitor waste for prohibited items, and maintain vehicle cleanliness to minimize downtime. After earning the CDL, they will assume full driver duties in the assigned line of business and perform any additional job‑related tasks.
