About the Role

• Establish friendly, professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and project parties. • Administer contracts in line with project objectives and policies. • Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting through project completion. • Proactively monitor cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring timely applications. • Collaborate with client and contractor teams to deliver project KPIs, cost control, and value engineering. • Manage contract changes effectively while maintaining governance and best practice. • Drive improvements in forecast and budget accuracy. • Deliver sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders. • Negotiate and agree final accounts. • Lead people and commissions as required.

What You Bring

We are seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager for our prestigious infrastructure projects. The role requires extensive cost‑management experience and the ability to hold challenging, consultative conversations that bring out the best in teams and clients. You will work in a dynamic environment delivering high‑impact infrastructure programmes. • Proven cost/quantity surveying or commercial management experience. • MRICS accreditation (preferred). • Experience with NEC3 contracts, especially Option C – Target Cost. • Post‑contract administration expertise. • Experience on major programmes and infrastructure projects. • Experience across rail, aviation, marine/ports, utilities, or highways sectors. • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams.
