About the Role

The Governance Analyst role focuses on day‑to‑day governance of automation and data platforms, leveraging Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Platform, Alteryx, and other analytics tools. The position offers hands‑on experience with emerging technologies, including generative AI, while partnering with IT, business users, and citizen developers. Key duties include establishing governance standards across RPA and analytics environments, performing code reviews, maintaining documentation, and supporting audits to identify and remediate risks. The analyst also monitors compliance with security policies, administers user access, and helps design a central repository for governance assets and training materials. • Implement governance standards across RPA (Automation Anywhere, Power Platform) and analytics platforms. • Conduct regular code reviews to enforce best practices and established standards. • Create and maintain templates, documentation, and best‑practice guidelines. • Participate in governance audits, identify gaps or risks, and support remediation actions. • Monitor compliance with internal security policies, access controls, and platform standards. • Administer environments, configure user access, and review roles and permissions. • Design and maintain a central repository for governance documentation, training materials, and process assets. • Support training sessions, develop documentation, and coordinate delivery of governance procedures. • Collaborate closely with IT, automation teams, citizen developers, and data teams to enforce governance requirements. • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements for data governance and emerging AI technologies. • Assist onboarding of new tools and Generative AI use cases from a governance perspective. • Develop and report governance metrics such as audit findings, training uptake, and access compliance. • Involvement in audits, compliance reviews, or training activities.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates bring 2‑3 years of governance experience and 5‑6 years in automation, with strong expertise in Automation Anywhere and Microsoft Power Platform. They should have practical knowledge of data visualization tools, experience conducting audits and training, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. • 2‑3 years of hands‑on governance experience and 5‑6 years in automation, especially with Automation Anywhere. • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI administration). • Experience with data/visualization tools like Alteryx or Power BI and workflow optimization. • Proven record of conducting code reviews, compliance checks, and maintaining governance documentation. • Ability to work collaboratively with IT, automation, and business stakeholders. • Understanding of automation lifecycle management and RPA best practices. • Familiarity with service/help‑desk tools (Jira, ServiceNow) for tracking governance tasks. • Exposure to Generative AI governance (beneficial) and willingness to learn. • Strong sense of ownership, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
