About the Role

The coordinator will act as a bridge between solar field crews and design teams, driving project integration, technology innovation, and GIS standardization. Responsibilities include hosting GIS trainings, supporting VDC initiatives, and partnering with Energy & Infrastructure, Lean, and industrialization groups. Reporting to the Director of Integrated Technology and VDC, the role joins a team of 12 VDC and GIS professionals. Key duties involve planning, implementing, and coordinating GIS processes using ArcGIS platforms, supporting workflows such as material distribution, QA/QC, permitting, and dashboard creation. The coordinator will train design team members, serve as the GIS subject‑matter expert for field sessions, and lead VDC E&I integration project execution plans. They will also be the primary GIS point of contact throughout design and construction and document process improvements. • Serve as GIS subject‑matter expert and primary liaison between solar field crews and design teams. • Standardize and implement ArcGIS workflows across field operations, including material distribution, QA/QC, permitting, and dashboard reporting. • Conduct GIS trainings and provide ongoing support to design and field personnel. • Lead VDC Energy & Infrastructure integration project execution plans for solar projects. • Document and improve GIS-related company process standards. • Manage GIS data, perform spatial analysis, and ensure data quality through testing and QA/QC. • Collaborate with Lean, Industrialization, and other cross‑functional teams to drive technology innovation.

What You Bring

Applicants must have GIS experience, preferably with ESRI ArcGIS products (ArcGIS Pro, Online, Enterprise, Field apps, Dashboards, etc.) and competence in data management, spatial analysis, and QA/QC. Minimum qualifications include an associate or bachelor’s degree in GIS, civil engineering, construction management, or a related field; Coordinator I may rely on internship experience, while Coordinator II requires at least four years of relevant work. A valid driver’s license, Microsoft Office proficiency, and U.S. work authorization without sponsorship are also required. • Possess experience with ArcGIS Pro, Online, Enterprise/Portal, field data collection apps, and related ESRI tools. • Hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in GIS or a related discipline; Coordinator II requires minimum four years of relevant experience. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.
