About the Role
The Janitorial Supervisor (1st shift) reports to the Senior Operation Manager and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of employees within the shift and assigned buildings, under the guidance of the Account Manager or Account Director. Key duties include supervising staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, managing project activities and service coordination for assigned buildings, ensuring services meet contractual specifications, maintaining work schedules, submitting weekly payroll timesheets, establishing performance standards, conducting quality assurance checks, and managing inventory, equipment, and key controls, including snow removal. The supervisor also resolves on‑site service delivery problems, participates in safety and technical training programs, orients new employees, develops team skills, sets up conference rooms and internal moves as needed, maintains effective customer relations, and performs other duties as assigned. • Supervise shift personnel and manage operations for assigned buildings. • Ensure services meet contractual specifications and conduct quality checks. • Maintain work schedules, submit weekly payroll timesheets, and control budgets. • Manage inventory, equipment, key controls, and snow removal services. • Resolve on‑site service delivery issues and coordinate conference‑room setups or internal moves. • Provide employee orientation, safety training, and develop team skills. • Maintain strong customer relationships and handle special project requests.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications are one to three years of supervisory experience, up‑to‑date knowledge of cleaning practices, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and fluency in English and Spanish. Responsibilities include work‑scheduling, establishing standards, site audits, inventory and budget control, employee evaluations, problem‑solving, safety training, payroll processing, and handling special projects. • Require 1–3 years supervisory experience, cleaning expertise, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Benefits
Compensation is $18.70–$22.00 CAD hourly, with pay determined by factors such as collective bargaining status, location, market rates, and experience.
