About the Role

• Install, repair, maintain, and calibrate electronic equipment and gauges. • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, isometric drawings, P&IDs, and engineering instructions. • Test and analyze equipment for accuracy; perform preventative maintenance and calibrations. • Complete detailed reports on tests, repairs, and installations. • Work with low and high pressure tubing/piping systems and precision instruments. • Apply electrical theory for wiring and device calibration. • Perform work at heights up to 300 ft using proper fall protection; climb ladders and work from platforms.

What You Bring

Instrument technicians perform installation, repair, maintenance, and calibration of electronic equipment and gauges that control, regulate, or monitor mechanical systems. The role requires at least four years of instrumentation experience, the ability to read blueprints and related drawings, and proficiency with low and high pressure tubing and precision tools. Technicians must adhere to company and project policies and procedures. The position involves reading schematics, wiring diagrams, isometric drawings, and engineering instructions to install, test, and calibrate devices, perform preventative maintenance, and document work through reports. Candidates must possess journeyman‑level tool sets, knowledge of electrical theory, and the ability to work at heights up to 300 feet with appropriate fall protection, as well as work outdoors in varying weather conditions while wearing required PPE. An NCCER Industrial Instrumentation Fitter certification is required, and the employer offers a safe, drug‑free, equal‑opportunity environment. • Minimum 4 + years instrumentation experience or equivalent knowledge. • Possess and use journeyman‑level tools and power tools. • Operate outdoors in heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind while wearing required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, harness, face shield, ear plugs). • Hold NCCER Industrial Instrumentation Fitter certification.
