About the Role
The Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift position works Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 pm‑11:00 pm, serving multiple communities in Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville. The role focuses on maintaining the physical condition of properties, ensuring timely completion of service requests, and keeping vacant units rent‑ready. • Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and other building systems. • Complete service requests promptly following company standards. • Prepare vacant apartments for rent and perform turnkey work as needed. • Conduct preventative maintenance and interior/exterior painting. • Follow safety policies, maintain an incident‑free environment, and report hazards. • Perform hot‑work tasks such as brazing, soldering, and welding per standards. • Understand and adhere to key policies, safety data sheets, PPE usage, and emergency system procedures.

What You Bring
• Have 2–3 years of maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs. • Hold a valid driver’s license and communicate effectively with residents and associates. • Demonstrate knowledge of paint types and painting tools.
